At Viva Rescue, we're dedicated to crafting a more compassionate world through innovative sanctuary care for animals in need. Nestled in Menifee, California, our sanctuary serves as a beacon of hope to animals with nowhere else to turn, offering permanent refuge, and sustainable solutions to animal-related issues both locally and globally.
As a volunteer, you'll play a vital role in our mission. Working closely with our animal care manager and fellow volunteers, you'll engage in a variety of meaningful tasks at the 5 acre Menifee ranch. From feeding and grooming to cleaning pastures and barns, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of equines and farm animals of all ages and backgrounds. Description
The Viva Sanctuary is home to many horses and farmed animals (goats, sheep, chickens) saved from abuse, neglect, and other cruel situations. The Viva Sanctuary provides innovative, permanent sanctuary care. Volunteers assist in animal care, cleanup, enrichment activities, socialization, and other tasks directly involved with helping rescued farmed animals and equines.
