ORGANIZATION: Ten Lives Cat Rescue

We are seeking dedicated volunteers to join our events team. Event volunteers are essential to helping raise funds and share our mission with the community. As a nonprofit organization, events help us raise vital funds to help cats in Rhode Island.

Duties

  • Promote Ten Lives' mission, values, and programs to event attendees
  • Represent the rescue in a positive and professional manner
  • Provide assistance with set up and break down of event supplies
  • Record transactions through a Point of Sales system
Qualifications
  • Dependable and able to commit to providing 3 hours of service per month
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to participate in events in RI and Southeastern, MA

Mission Statement

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is committed to saving homeless, abused, and abandoned cats by providing veterinary care, rehabilitation services, and then placing them into loving adoptive homes. We are dedicated to giving a second chance to those who have been forgotten: seniors, the physically and emotionally scarred, the behaviorally challenged, and those who need critical medical care. Along with our immediate mission to rescue cats, Ten Lives is dedicated to educating communities about cat overpopulation and inspiring change.

Description

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. We are dedicated to providing dignity to cats in our community while reducing the stray cat population and inspiring change. Ten Lives was founded in 2018 and has provided vital services to more than 2,000 cats and facilitated nearly 1,400 adoptions. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered and community supported. All of our vital life-saving funds come from generous supporters who believe in our mission statement.
