Be a part of enriching the lives of hospice patients and their pets!
For many people, pets offer unconditional love, support, and comfort. It is important that everyone is able to receive this compassion from their furry friends, especially those in hospice care.
The program caters to the individual needs of patients by fulfilling pet care requirements, ensuring that food supplies are available, and taking care of waste pick up and litter box cleaning. Volunteers can also help with arranging and transporting pets to veterinary appointments, grooming services, and providing temporary boarding in emergency patient situations. Additionally, the program helps patients find a home for their pets when needed, ensuring that their furry friends are well taken care of even after the patient passes.
By providing this kind of compassion and support, you can be a part of helping our patients live out the rest of their lives with peace of mind that their beloved pets are being cared for.
