The Oregon Money Management Program is looking for volunteers to provide assistance to seniors and people with disabilities for help with their household money management tasks in order to promote independence and protect against financial abuse and fraud. Volunteers serve in their local community and receive training and ongoing support from NorthWest Senior & Disability Service's Program staff, after a background check is approved. Volunteers serve as little as two hours per month and have the flexibility to set their own schedule. Monthly meetings are held in the client's home.

Description
Our mission is to help low-income seniors and people with disabilities maintain peace of mind, independence, and protection against fraud and financial exploitation. As a volunteer in the Oregon Money Management Program, you will assist individuals in their own home with budgeting, organizing financial paperwork, sorting mail and filling out applications.
