ORGANIZATION: Monumental Impact

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

In this volunteer opportunity as an Equipment Trainer / Technician you will be helping us keep equipment running, training others on equipment and monitoring the safe use of equipment by community members. You are the enabler for student interns to learn techniques and fabricate parts themselves.

The most used items in our space are 3D Printers and laptops, but we do have other equipment like CNCs in the makerspace we would love your help with.

Times that we are open varies. During the school year students are in our space in the evening at this time. Our busiest time is during the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) build season from September through mid-February and at the start of our internships when we are onboarding and training new students.

Thank you for considering and we looking forward to joining our team!
