Circle of Hope is in need of volunteers aged 16 and older to help with our weekly drive-thru food distributions. We provide bread, fresh fruit, produce, frozen meats, and dairy products as well as a box of non-perishable food to our neighbors every Monday and Friday. The drive-thru is open from 10am-12pm and there are a variety of positions that need to be filled. We need volunteers who can help with traffic control, filling boxes with food, placing boxes into cars, sorting donations, and more. Some of these positions require standing, lifting, and being outdoors for the entirety of the shift. If you need special accommodations, you can indicate that when you sign up and we will see if there is a way you can still help. All volunteers must wear closed toed shoes and comfortable clothing. Masks are now optional.
**We also support Central Texas Food Bank in bringing a mobile food pantry to the Pfield on the first Tuesday of every month. Similar positions need to be filled for those distributions. This would be a perfect opportunity for large groups who would like to volunteer together for the good of the community!
* If you require assistance with community service hours please be sure to contact Jesse Petaia at jessepetaia.cohcc@gmail.com right away *
We would love to have you join our team and help get food into the hands of those that need it most. Please review the available slots and click on the button to sign up.
