Volunteers to assemble packets of PPE (e.g. masks, gloves) for hospice clinical staff serving western, southern portions of Cuyahoga County. Work can be done from seated position, lifting 20 lbs. or less, moving boxes, able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Description

Hospice of the Western Reserve provides care for patients where ever they call home, whether that be at home, in a nursing home, assisted living, one of our inpatient units, or in a hospital. Care is provided regardless of ability to pay. We use a team approach where volunteers are of equal importance to all other members of the team.

Hospice of the Western Reserve serves Northern Ohio with offices in Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark, and Summit counties.

  • Orientation or Training
  • 3 hours monthly or every other week
  • Pre-interview, virtual or in person, and one 3 hour orientation and on site orientation at agency's Fairview Park Office. Flu vaccine and COVID vaccine required.
