HOPE Tutoring has been offering free, 1:1 tutoring for students in Arlington, Texas for the past 27 years. All of our students are in grades 2 - 8. We are seeking buddies and mentors for our afterschool programs. We especially have need for Math and Reading assistance due to so many children falling behind in math during the academic disruptions caused by the pandemic. We also assist in social studies and science.

Additionally, we have need for in-school volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays when we take tutoring directly to the students at McNutt Elementary Schoo and Blanton Elementary School.

We also offer virtual tutoring options!

All volunteers will need to complete an orientation and undergo a criminal background check. Training is provided.

Our regular tutoring sessions are held at the following locations and times. We ask mentors to commit to a time for the entire semester. Our school year program runs from September 3RD through May 12th. We do not have programming on days AISD is closed.
