Volunteer Opportunity* --- The Financial Empowerment Center at Prince George's Community College (FEC@PGCC), is a grant-funded project of the United Way of the National Capital Area and is inviting interested community members - who believe they are financially-minded, stable and successful - to our MLK National Day of Service Program. On, Monday January 17, 2022, the center will present its MLK-inspired financial education session, "Financial Lessons from Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr."

Through the ZOOM-based virtual platform, Volunteers will be assigned to breakout rooms with Attendee(s) and other Volunteer(s). Volunteers are invited to share their stories from their financial journey. Volunteers are further invited to reflect on the lessons from Dr. King covered in the FEC@PGCC presentation. Volunteers will interact with Attendees and other Volunteers. During the guided sharing, Volunteers and Attendees will have prompts aiding the dialogue and engagement.

[*Young Adults to Senior-aged Retirees are welcome to volunteer]

Thanks so much,
