We are looking for Military Veterans to join our Hospice Volunteer Team!
Veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission to serve our Country and we want to be there for them when they are faced with a life-limiting & terminal illness. We take great care to ensure our Veterans are properly covered and receive the care and attention they need and deserve. That's why our hospice is a part of the We Honor Veterans program.
Volunteers are an essential part of our dynamic interdisciplinary team and may serve in a multitude of ways, including offering patient companionship (such as reading a book, engaging in conversation, actively listening by the bedside, playing card games, singing or holding someone's hand).
**Our Veteran Volunteers also present our Veteran Patients with a Challenge Coin; an incredible thing to be a part of.
We provide free training along with ongoing education and support for our Veterans have done everything asked of them in their mission to serve our country, and we want to be there for them when they are faced with a life-limiting, terminal illness.
Come join us in our mission to make a difference and help to improve our Veteran hospice Patients quality of life, by providing compassionate presence and care.
