Are you looking to make a positive change in your life by helping animals in need?
Can you volunteer just two hours once a week to change the lives of rescue cats? Then look no further!
NYC Cat Coalition urgently needs to fill volunteer shifts at our Petsmart Charities Pelham Manor NY Adoption Center!
- Training is provided.
- Each shift requires just one volunteer at a time, so no interaction with the public is required.
- Tasks include feeding cats, keeping adoption area clean, socialization (aka hugs and kisses!)
- Must be 18 or older or accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Please help us keep the center open by volunteering your time.
We can save more LIVES with more support!

Mission Statement
" We rescue cats and kittens from the streets and outdoors, or from owner surrender, bring them for needed veterinary services, give them love, and find them loving forever homes! We are a 100% Zero Kill rescue, 100% volunteer-based, 501(C)(3) non-profit, grassroots organization. When you adopt a cat from us, it will create a space for us to rescue another cat! Thank you for considering our organization."
Description
We are a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) cat rescue and adoption group based in the Bronx, New York. We rescue cats from the streets and, through owner surrender, find them excellent forever homes! We do TNR in Bronx communities to get feral cats spayed /neutered and vaccinated. With rescue and TNR come vet bills and supplies for injured and sick cats that we come upon all the time.
