This project is named in honor of Marilyn Heskett.

Make an impact by connecting families with critical food resources. Join the Homeless Prenatal Program pantry every Friday helping empower families. Volunteers will be provided with breakfast on the day of the project.

Volunteers will support by bagging food and distributing them to Homeless Prenatal Program clients.

About the Homeless Prenatal Program

The Homeless Prenatal Program is a nationally-recognized family resource center in San Francisco that empowers homeless and low-income families to find within themselves the strength and confidence they need to transform their lives. They serve over 3,500 low-income and homeless families annually to help families become healthy, stable, and self-sufficient.

Project Requirements & Important Notes

• Volunteers will receive a rapid Covid test on-site

• Volunteers may be asked to lift heavy boxes

• Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing

• Please do your part in keeping our community healthy. If you are immuno-compromised, at increased risk for severe illness, or feeling sick at all, please decline your registration to the event and register for a project at a less risky time. If your group is larger than the listed project maximum, please email sarah@handsonbayarea.org. For a one-time $50 group sign-up fee, we can assist your team with signing up and coordinating with the agency partner for possible accommodation.
