As a CPA, you will be helping our treasurer to bring prehospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Human Rights, and Woman's Rights to the people of rural Nepal (ninety percent of the 30,000,000 Nepalis live in very remote, rural, and austere areas).

Mission Statement

Neither geographical location nor socioeconomic status should determine the level of emergency medical care a person receives -- or if they receive emergency medical care at all.

Mile Stones:

  • Trained over 1,700 Rural First Responders (RFRs) to act as the responder pool for the DEMDC - 60 + percent female - 06/2016 - Present
  • Trained over 300 Rural Medical Responders (RMRs) to act as the responder pool for the DEMDC - 60 + percent female - 06/2016 - Present
  • Secured Sustainability Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dhading Government Hospital for the use of workspace and the adoption of the DEMSDC following the two-year creation and implementation period 06/19/2021
  • Secured Two Year Rotary International Grant for the creation of the DEMSDC 01-2020 - 11/13/2021
  • Nepal's National Health Training Center (NHTC) has adopted out training curriculum for both our Rural First Responder (RFR) and our Rural Medical Responder (RMR) and will take over training responders throughout the country of Nepal.
  • Approximately three million of the approximately thirty million Nepalis residing in the country of Nepal live within the Kathmandu Valley. The other ninety percent of Nepalis live in very remote, rural, and austere areas. This is where Nepal Medics are working to erase the socioeconomic prehospital emergency medicine access barrier. Nepal Medics plan on doing this by creating a completely sustainable, measurable, scalable, and replicable Community-Based EMS System. Nepal Medics have started this process through the creation and training of RFRs and RMRs, Lobbying for Rural EMS standards, and training through the Nepal Minister of Health and Population (MoHP), World Health Organization (WHO), and the National Health Training Center of Nepal (NHTS) for a few examples. Nepal Medic is pioneering the first-ever Rural EMS Dispatch Center. This rural EMS Dispatched will offer toll-free access to all in rural Nepal.
