Digital communication is essential nowadays! We log in for many interactions that used to happen in person, such as a doctor's visit or a class at the senior center. Help an older adult learn to use an internet-enabled device. Our volunteers may install internet, deliver a tablet, and assist with set up and how-to on applications, including email or video-conferencing software. SCES Technology Coach volunteers follow COVID-19 protocol during an initial home visit; after that, additional help is over the phone.
If you’d like to find another Aging Services Access Point (like us) outside of Cambridge and Somerville, here’s an online tool: https://www.massmmp.org/asap-search/
