JA Elementary School Classroom

Using JA prepared curriculum, you will deliver lessons utilizing instructional classroom kits and infuse your experience and knowledge to make the subjects relevant and meaningful to the students. You will spend approximately one hour per week for 5-8 weeks (depending on grade level) in the classroom working with students in grades K-12. One day opportunities are also available!

Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan (JASEM) is a franchised office of Junior Achievement USA and serves youth ages 5 - 25. Junior Achievement USA is the world's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices.

What sets us apart from other organizations is our strong business and education partnerships. We place volunteers with diverse backgrounds into the schools, bringing the real world to students and opening their minds to their potential. We firmly believe that all kids, no matter their race, socio-economic status, or family structure, deserve the opportunities for their hopes and dreams to become reality.

We have volunteer opportunities for individuals or small groups available. The JA team will provide training and materials, you bring your career story and real-world expertise to bring curriculum to life.
