Key Responsibilities:

Fill volunteer roles in various business lines to meet both course learning objectives and Red Cross organizational needs/priorities.

  • Complete required training for related roles
  • Participate in special projects based on local or national need.
* Submit all hours in Volunteer Connection in either the program specific area or in the general ASL Volunteer Connection Group share.

Qualifications :

  • Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and submission of vaccine status and supporting documentation in Volunteer Connection if participating in in-person activities
  • Complete Red Cross volunteer application, code of conduct, orientation and successfully complete background check
  • Current enrollment as a student in an academic program

* Commitment to serve communities, work with diverse individuals and excellent communication skills.

Training :
  • American Red Cross Volunteer Orientation
  • On-the-job training from supervisor, as needed

Time Commitment : Varies; discuss with faculty contact to determine specific number of hours and schedule
