Fill your heart with pure love!!! Strays and Others oversees the daily care of our community's many homeless cats (and dogs in foster care). This opportunity involves caring for our cats, providing food and fresh water twice a day, refreshing litter boxes, providing clean beds or blankets, vacuuming and light cleaning. Volunteer will also provide socialization to each cat.
Cats are either awaiting adoption, or they are in our Sanctuary Program because they are elderly and have been difficult to place. Must be responsible, dependable, committed, kind, empathetic and team oriented - and also willing to work independently. References and own transportation required. If you really like cats, this can be a very rewarding experience!
Specifically looking for people in the New Canaan /Darien/ Norwalk/ Wilton /Stamford/ Pound Ridge area who are close by so they can easily help in all weather and traffic conditions.
