Orange County's 8th Annual Homeless Persons' Interreligious Memorial Service, A National Day of Remembrance
The First Day of Winter. The Longest Night of the Year.
Each year, thousands of individuals experiencing homelessness die on the streets of our nation die to illness, exposure or violence. Many from our very own community of Orange County. Please join us as we honor and acknowledge their lives as part of the human family.
Join us in carrying a candle of remembrance for every life lost. You will place the candle before the alter while the names of those who perished are read. Each candle is representing the life of someone.
Oragnized by Our Father's Table, Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange, Sisters of Saint Joseph of Orange, Interfatih Network Orange County, and Volunteer Network OC.

Mission Statement
A Christian response to homelessness. OFT’s mission is to walk alongside our brothers & sisters experiencing chronic homelessness & connect them to services and agencies with the goal of ending their cycle of homelessness & ensuring their journey back to RESTORATION.
Description
OFT is the light at the end of the tunnel!
Our Father’s Table has a solution that breaks the cycle of chronic homelessness, one person at a time. Our work is important because it addresses homelessness at its cause knowing chronic homelessness is a symptom of a deeper-rooted problem. OFT changes lives, by giving a hand up, not a hand out! Our work is cost effective and it does not create another program. Our unique approach puts us in the center of their life as mentor, advocate & most importantly genuine friend giving unconditional love & guidance.
A caring mentor and advocate navigating the system.
Our Father’s Table is the conduit between the homeless services & agencies and our neighbors experiencing chronic homelessness. Our Care Navigators understand the homeless system of services, the nuances for their points of entry, criteria for eligibility into their programs, the paperwork, applications & their best practices.
OFT’s Care Navigators are mentors & advocates who work with the chronically homeless to move them off the streets & back to being a productive citizen of our communities, ending the cycle of homelessness.
To date we have lifted off the streets over 375 chronically homeless and 95% have successfully broken their cycle of homelessness.
