McLaren Hospice is looking for dedicated individuals who would like to make a difference in the lives of McLaren Hospice families who have recently lost a loved one to a terminal illness. Hospice training is provided and no medical experience is necessary.

We are currently looking for individuals to work with our bereavement coordinator following up with families after the death of their loved one. Contact will be made by phone calls and mailings. Opportunities to assist Bereavement staff with planning our annual Memorial Service or assisting with preparing for grief support groups may also be available.

If you have a couple of hours a week to assist and are interested in helping families through a difficult time please contact Melanie Steinhauser at melanie.steinhauser@mclaren.org or 586-854-7090.

Thank you for your consideration! We hope you will join our McLaren Hospice volunteer team!
