At Home of the Innocents, team members are working hard to ensure this holiday season is magical for children in our care. To make this a success, volunteer opportunities are available. To sign up for a holiday volunteer effort, please contact Julie Spry via email at jspry@homeoftheinnocents.org
Holiday Donations Sorting and Organizing
November 29 - December 22
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am - 12pm or 1pm - 3pm.
The Home receives many donations throughout the year, with the biggest being at the holidays. Volunteers provide a great service sorting and organizing the large amount of donations received.
Gift Wrapping
December 6 - 22
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am - 12pm or 1pm - 3pm.
Over a thousand gifts are wrapped for the many children in the Home’s care. That’s a lot of packages! Having volunteers ensure each gift is festively wrapped and labeled is a tremendous help to team members ensuring all is prepared in time for Christmas morning.
Gift Transport
December 15 and December 23 from 10am - 12pm or 1pm - 3pm
Help transport all wrapped gifts to other buildings on campus to ensure they are ready for children’s parties and Christmas morning.

Covid-19 Procedures
- Volunteer opportunities are available to individuals or groups 18 and older.
- Volunteers not to exceed 10 people
- All volunteers must complete a health screening at arrival, including temperature check.
- All volunteers are required to wear a mask provided by the Home.
- All volunteers must adhere to social distancing while on campus.

Home of the Innocents enriches the lives of children and families with hope, health, and happiness.
Established in 1880, the Home provides a range of important residential and community-based services. Serving more than 10,000 children and their families last year, our programs include residential and community-based clinical treatment services, crisis and intervention services, therapeutic loving foster care and adoption services, and a pediatric convalescent center for children who are medically complex or terminally ill.
Thanks to our many supporters, we operate world-class facilities that impact children’s lives throughout our region. For many of these children, this is where hope begins.
