Midway International Airport is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to participate in its Airport Ambassador program. Volunteers assist passengers throughout Midway International Airport, including staffing information desks and supporting airport special events.
- Volunteers must be able to sit or stand for a 4 hour volunteer shift.
- Volunteers must complete at least two 4-hour volunteer shifts per month.
- Be able to effectively communicate with a wide variety of persons, utilizing printed and technological resources to provide wayfinding assistance and airport information
- Be able to utilize telecommunications or technological devices to communicate with passengers with limited English proficiency. Language skills, esp. Spanish, are encouraged but not required
- Be willing to submit to and able to pass a TSA background check. All volunteers will be required to hold a CDA-issued SIDA badge to volunteer.

Description
The Chicago Department of Aviation (CDA) administers all aspects of Chicago's two major airports: O'Hare and Midway International Airports.
