Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 2024 National Association for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth (NAEHCY) Annual Conference!

This conference brings together over 2000 professionals working to ensure that ALL children receive appropriate services for their academic success and enrichment so that no child experiencing homelessness is left behind. We cannot execute a successful conference without the help of dedicated stakeholders and volunteers!

Tasks will include assisting with registration, monitoring sign-in and sign-out of breakout sessions, providing directions and answering questions, and providing support in the breakout sessions.

Our most critical need is for session moderators to assist our virtual conference participants. This opportunity requires volunteers to be on-site at the Hyatt Regency Orlando. Session moderators interact with virtual conference participants by monitoring presentation chatrooms and sharing questions or comments generated by online conference participants with in-person conference presenters and attendees.

The requested volunteer time commitment is one 90-minute shift. Please note, you are welcome to volunteer for more than one shift, but we do ask that if you sign up, you do follow-through on your entire commitment.

Prior to volunteering, you will need to complete a brief video orientation (done on your own time), as well as to review and sign a liability release and photo release. More information on volunteer responsibilities will be shared by NAEHCY following sign-up.
