Program: Math Club (CIS Tacoma)
Communities In Schools of Tacoma is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to inspire students to grow their math skills! Stewart Middle school serves students aged 11-14, many of whom are below grade level in math and need help to complete math assignments. Math tutors help students one-on-one after school, keeping them motivated and on-task so that they can complete their math homework. We are looking for caring adults who can help students stay motivated and tutor them in mathematics.
This after-school program is on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM.

Communities In Schools is part of the 5th largest youth development organization in the country. We are the only ones proven to increase graduation rates AND decrease dropout rates.
We serve as the bridge between the student and the community, bringing in resources that help break down the barriers that students have to be successful in school.
