Quick Overview: Urban Scholar Academy is inviting interested individuals to assist Kindergarten through 8th grade students with homework assignments at the organization's Homework Club program.

Impact: Students receiving assistance will be able to improve their knowledge of content grade level standards, develop stronger work habits and confidence in their ability to learn.

Roles & Responsibilities: Volunteers will assist Kindergarten through 8th grade students with homework assignments and and various administrative tasks as needed. Volunteers may also volunteer during our seasonal academy events and camps.

Requirements: Individuals must complete a volunteer application and complete a volunteer training to volunteer with us. If you are 18+ a background check is required.

Additional Information: The Homework Club program takes places- in-person Monday - Friday, 3 p.m.-6 p.m. at the academy facility.
