Celestial Manna is a faith-based 501(c)(3) food recovery nonprofit. We are a volunteer-based organization, and our mission is to solve food insecurity and help our neighbors in need.
We have been growing our executive servant leadership team to support the ever-expanding needs of surrounding communities.
We are seeking a strong Human Resources leader to join the CEO, COO, and Chief Human Resources Officer build the "People" pillar for our organization.
This role would be responsible for:
1- Recruiting
2- Developing and Managing HRM Processes
3- Team Building Strategies

Mission Statement
Celestial Manna feeds the hungry by providing them with free food that is locally donated. We give monthly support to more than 20,000 people in the Washington, DC metropolitan region stretching from north of Baltimore through Prince George's and Montgomery Counties Maryland, and south to northern Virginia.
Description
Celestial Manna tries to help people from all walks of life; these individuals range from blue-collar workers, low-income families, single-parent households and diverse ethnicities. Hunger is not the only challenge these people face. In addition to a network of food redistribution, Celestial Manna provides support to people in need of clothing.
