Description
Lost Pet Services (LPS) fills a unique community need. As a trusted safety-net organization, LPS provides services to help keep safe and care for cherished companion animals in a unique way. We are dedicated to keeping pets home safe, healthy, and happy with the families they love through financial aid, education, and community outreach.
We were voted Small Business of the Year 2022 - Nonprofit Category (Manatee Chamber); Best Nonprofit Organization (platinum award), Best Nonprofit Leader (platinum award); and Best Animal Nonprofit (gold award) by SRQ Magazine.
LPS provides vital medical veterinary funding to our community. Since 2018 we have provided over $170,,000 in medical financial aid to both owned pets and strays. We have helped reunite over 25,000 local pets with their owners. Our podcast, Let’s Talk Pets, helps us spread the word about pet safety, lost pet recovery and other important pet-related topics. We have over 50,000 social media followers.
LPS aims to keep loved pets out of the overcrowded shelters and happy, healthy, and home where they belong sparing their families the devastating loss of their loved companion animal simply due to personal finances. We are a 100% volunteer organization.
