This volunteer opportunity is for our Employment Program, in assisting our clients with their professional development, and resume building. The role is not very busy or demanding, we would like to have access to a good number of potential referrals and assistance that we can add to this new program.
Resume building can be worked on remotely, volunteers can help with updating resumes, creating cover letters or sprucing up existing documents for our clients. The Program Coordinator will communicate with the volunteer via email or phone call to relay information, then send over any resume, or cover letter drafts to be worked on.
Career Coaching/Mock Interviews can also be conducted remotely, or via Zoom if it's comfortable for both volunteers, as well as the clients. Assistance can be done via phone calls as well.
*This is a remote position, no COVID precautions are necessary*
