Volunteering with Meals on Wheels of Tarrant County is so rewarding and easy!
-Volunteers deliver meals ONE day per week, Monday-Friday for 60-90 minutes.
-Volunteers pick up the packaged meals at our neighborhood meal site in the Mansfield area between 10:30 and 11:30, and deliver to approximately 8-12 clients, all located within a several mile radius.
-You can volunteer individually or with a friend, family member or colleague. Meals on Wheels is also an amazing group experience for your company, church, or organization!
-Pick a day that works best for you. For example, if you choose Tuesdays, you have the option to deliver the same route every Tuesday OR become a Tuesday substitute-the choice is yours!
-After you sign up to volunteer with us, you will complete a criminal background check, attend our in person orientation and tour our magnificent facility.
We will provide you with a set of Meals on Wheels insulated bags and A WHOLE LOT OF GRATITUDE! If you are interested in becoming a Meals on Wheels volunteer, please contact:
