CoachArt creates 1-on-1 matches between kids impacted by chronic illness and volunteers who will go to their home and do four 1-hour lessons in the chosen activity.
We have some amazing kids on the waitlist who want to learn different activities -- and you only need the skills to introduce them to it!
We especially need spanish speaking volunteers as many of our families have a difficult time communicating in English.
We even have a new online tool to make it easy to do your training/background check, see a list of the kids and what they want to learn, and schedule a match directly with the parents all on the platform.

Mission Statement
CoachArt’s mission is to create a transformative arts and athletics community for families impacted by childhood chronic illness.
Description
CoachArt is a non-profit organization offering free lessons in the arts and athletics to children impacted by chronic illness, ages 5-18. Our vision is that one day every family impacted by chronic illness will be connected to a community of support and an opportunity to learn and grow together.
We partner with talented volunteers and arts/athletics programs to offer lessons in music, art, yoga, photography, dance, soccer - and more! Our CoachArt team matches each individual child with our volunteers and program partners, who provide 8 week lessons in a shared activity of choice.
