The ideal volunteer will have active listening and effective communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish, Korean, or Chinese is a plus.

Vounteer Roles & Responsibilities:
The volunteer must have the ability to discuss various topics of interest.
Must communicate clearly and patiently, and have the ability to draw out a shy or reluctant participant.
Must submit logs of client calls on a monthly basis
Requirements: The volunteer must possess effective communication skills. In addition, volunteers must be 18+ years of age, pass a background check, and complete a Social Call Self-Training with staff consultation if needed. The minimum time commitment is three months.
