QUICK OVERVIEW
A volunteer is needed to oversee and coordinate the Tutoring program operations at Joseph Learning Lab's (JLL) nonprofit.
IMPACT
We are on a mission to close the learning gap, reduce the dropout rate, and develop students of all ages and diverse backgrounds by allowing them an equal opportunity for learning and personal growth.
We tutor and mentor underprivileged children at our after school learning sessions, who are being left behind the learning curve. We also instruct underprivileged children at our summer enrichment sessions.
VOLUNTEER ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
A volunteer is needed to remotely oversee the coordination and administration of the Learning Lab's tutoring and summer enrichment programs that support JLL's mission.
REQUIREMENTS
The position is part-time and may be done remotely. The volunteer is expected to have the following:
College degree
More than two years of Program management/coordination experience
Good verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, management skills, experience with computer technology and overall good work ethics
There is an application/background check process before volunteering with JLL. Orientation will be provided by JLL.
