- Organizing direct services for the community, including the Neighbor 2 Neighbor food pantry and community center, which s hares food, diapers, utility assistance, and caring community with our low-income neighbors in East Austin, with a special focus on our senior neighbors. In the last two years alone, we have generated 8,000+ of volunteer hours and shared over 320,000 pounds of food and more than 150,000 diapers with our neighbors.
- Discussing and presenting organizational skills to address community problems (such as coordinating and leading a presentation to the school board, city council, or appropriate agency).
