Looking for a volunteer with business/administrative experience in the animal shelter/welfare world that can work alongside our founder to create actionable plans to build the Sanctuary from a solo run charity to a self-sustaining organization. Looking to create a business advisory committee to develop staff/volunteers who can elevate the organization to more a professional and lasting presence in the Pittsburgh community. The goal being to allow the founder to concentrate more on being the "face of the business" on social media and PR while the farm is managed and run efficiently by trusted volunteers.
This will be a fun, creative position where you will be able to make a HUGE difference in the future of Hope Haven and the lives of so many animals!!!

About HOPE HAVEN FARM SANCTUARY
Location:
2506 WEXFORD-BAYNE ROAD, SEWICKLEY, PA 15143, US
Mission Statement
We are a vegan animal rescue organization that takes in abused and neglected farm animals and provides them a safe, loving home.
Description
Hope Haven opened eight years ago when our founder, Dr. Karen Phillips, began noticing farm animals being surrendered at the city animal shelter where she worked. She knew Pittsburgh needed its own Safe Haven for these neglected sentient animals so she created a farm just for them.
Not only is this a beautiful farm full of amazing and charismatic individual animals but also a charity devoted to spreading compassion and education about animal welfare to the public.
We offer guided farm tours, on-site farm events, participate in offsite events, and try to have a strong online presence.

- Good people skills! Willingness to help with the footwork of project ideas created with the Founder. The goal is to help take the burden of phone calls/meetings off the founder’s shoulders.
