We are looking for the help and advice of a volunteer retail buyer with knowledge and experience in fashion, Retail, department store purchasing, and merchandising in the USA.
We are a black woman founded sustainable, ethical fashion brand handcrafted by artisan women in Kenya.

A bigger market and access to customers helps us empower more women by creating a demand for their work and making more money to fund our non-profit programs.

The primary product of interest is the hand woven, organic bag crafted from the agave plant fiber in an ancient African tribal craft. It is the anchor product. The secondary products are earrings, dog collars, leashes, art, bracelets, necklaces, sandals, and home goods.

The duties of this position would be to advice, prepare and assist the Sawa Sawa team with the procedure and process of introducing and selling our brand in national department stores.
