The Sequoia HS Digital Arts Academy is a California Partnership Academy, one of five in our school district and one of 500+ throughout the state of California, each with its own industry focus providing hands-on experiences for students to prepare them for their future careers.
Consider Mentoring: Want to make a difference in a teenager's life? Easy communication through email, phone, zoom, and in-person activities.
Mentoring Program: Sequoia HS is looking for career mentors. The mentor program will pair students with professionals to discuss both academic and career goals. The student's career interests are focused on multimedia, filmmaking, communication, and marketing. I'm hoping that you, or someone that you know, might be able to participate in this program as a mentor.
Commitment: Approximately 2 hours per month with monthly in-person meetings held at the Sequoia HS Campus. Visit our website for more information: https://vmitchell2.wixsite.com/mentorprogram

"My goal, my dream, is that every student can go to a school like this one... Sequoia is an amazing school... We want to take the lessons learned here and share them. This is a remarkable success story in the making." - Arne Duncan, U.S. Secretary of Education, September 12, 2012.
