Position Title: TNP Academy of Dramatic Arts - Education Assistant
Description: The classroom assistant supports the KidzAct instructor with student supervision and, if applicable, instructional assistance.
Responsibilities: Usual assignments include taking class attendance; escorting students to different classrooms or stages; assisting with supervision during class; and monitoring safe pickups after class. Additional duties vary depending on the needs of the class and the background and interests of the classroom assistant. Tasks may include reviewing lines; teaching songs or dance steps; setting props and set pieces; or leading theatre games.

Description
The Naples Players is Naples' premier community theatre located in a state-of-the-art facility opened in 1998. Volunteers fill every type of performance and production job available in 18+ adult and youth productions (musicals and plays) on three stages annually. A volunteer force of 650+ members contribute over 65,000 annually. TNP Academy of Dramatic Arts serves 700+ children annually providing basic to advanced theatre skills classes. The Naples Players Academy of Dramatic Arts (formerly KidzAct) consists of both Showcase Classes based on skills development and Performance Classes where participants are working on a full production of an upcoming show. The Naples Players is dedicated to providing high-quality arts access to every member of the community. The Naples Players is dedicated to providing high-quality access to the arts to all members of our community. Our inclusive classes provide a supportive environment to learn the performing arts for students who are on the autism spectrum, have sensory processing disorder, neurodevelopmental disorders, or any other type of neuro-divergency or any student who may wish to approach learning in a more accessible way.
