Help us provide the best visitor experience at Bentonville Battlefield. This opportunity is open to anyone over the age of 16 interested in historic sites and interpretation. The job is highly adaptable to interests and abilities of different volunteers but mostly includes visitor orientation, gift shop check-out and stocking, developing and leading programs, talks, and tours, trail maintenance, leading or assisting with guided walks, tours, and work days.

Bentonville Battlefield State Historic Site preserves and interprets the history of the battle of Bentonville and the Civil War in North Carolina.
Description
Bentonville Battlefield offers visitors a unique look at one of North Carolina’s most important Civil War battlefields. The beautifully restored Harper House, preserved battlefield land, and exciting special events provide an opportunity to explore life during the American Civil War. The site of the largest battle ever fought in North Carolina, the site is active with tours, programs, a driving tour, walking trails, exhibits, special events and more!
