Are you interested in becoming more involved in the community? The Revive & Thrive Project (RTP) is looking to fill seats on our active board of directors. This is an opportunity for anyone with a passion for youth, healthy eating, cancer, critically ill patients and/or supporting local food systems.
The Revive & Thrive Project is a 501(c)(3) which began in 2015 in Grand Rapids. We combine the power of nourishing foods with the heart of community service in order to provide meals to those facing a health crisis, empower the leaders of tomorrow, and support a vibrant local food system.
Our board members:
- are committed to the growth of RTP
- active in sharing the passion for RTP in the community through networking
- willing to be a part of a vibrant active board
- support the growth of RTP by seeking volunteers, funding and business partners
- active in organizational planning and decision making
- meet monthly
RTP is seeking board nominees with 3-5 years of Board Member experience, and skills in at least one of the following areas:
- HR
- Marketing
- Management
- Finance
- Public Relations
- Nonprofit Management
- Health & Wellness
- Local Food Systems
This is a wonderful opportunity to help our program grow, mentor more teens, provide vital nourishment to those facing a health crisis... one meal at a time.

Revive & Thrive Project seeks to nourish, educate, empower and connect our community through nutritious food to support health outcomes, build life skills, encourage healthy eating behaviors and support the local economy.
Description
We support individuals and their families dealing with serious illness with free, delivered, and nutrient-rich meals along with a community of nurturing support. We involve young people as volunteer chefs who can experience the transforming power of serving and nurturing those in need while developing cooking and healthy eating skills. Educating the broader community about the connections between healthy food & healing is at the heart of what we do.
