New England Equine Rescue - North is looking for responsible weekend help in our very busy tack shop! This position requires a minimum commitment of two shifts per month. Shifts are Saturday and Sunday, 12-3 PM. Retail experience is great but not necessary. Must be comfortable using a tablet to process credit cards and handling cash. Familiarity with horse tack and equipment a plus!

Mission Statement
NEER North rescues, rehabilitates, and finds approved adoptive homes for equines suffering from abuse, neglect, or at risk for slaughter. NEER North also provides assistance for horses and horse owners in need, along with networking to assist in helping assure horses do not become at risk. NEER North educates the public about responsible horse ownership whenever they can.
Description
NEER North is primarily a volunteer 501c organization dedicated to helping horses and horse owners in need.
NEER North houses up to 18 horses and donkeys at a time, making sure every horse is evaluated, rehabilitated, and brought up to date on all medical needs before being adopted into appropriate homes.
NEER North relies on donations, fundraising, and public public support to accomplish their goal.
NEER North works primarily in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire but will help any horse owner in need however thay can, funding allowing.
