Be the volunteer that supports her every step of the way-the one that watches her smile get bigger as she grows more confident.
As a Girl Scout troop leader, you have a direct impact in changing the life of a girl. You can be a role model she will always remember; helping her find her spark and watching her as she empowers herself with the skills she needs to thrive and succeed.
As a troop leader/co-leader, you will work with a group of girls and mentor them as they make new friends and develop connections that will last a lifetime. Commitment to volunteering is completely flexible. As a volunteer, you can decide how much time you have to give. Our troop meetings vary in schedule from weekly to monthly for one to two hours.
At Girl Scouts of Colorado, we believe in girls and what they can do, empowering them to take action and advocate for themselves and their communities, to create the future they want to see.
By volunteering to be a positive adult role model in girls’ lives, you can make a lasting impact. Join today!

Mission Statement
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.
Description
Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA is the preeminent organization for girls with a current membership of 3.6 million girls and adults. Volunteers use their expertise, skills, interests, and life experience to shape fun and enriching leadership experiences for girls, and inspire them to reach their personal best. Volunteers help council staff facilitate the Girl Scout Leadership Experience to girls through exciting program opportunities: leadership/self-esteem, financial literacy, travel, health/wellness, science, technology, engineering, and math. Volunteers choose from several flexible pathways (the ways that girls and adults join Girl Scouting) that fit their lifestyles, including short-term or long-term service working either directly or indirectly with girls, and they can participate regionally, nationally, and internationally.
