Enhabit is looking for motivated volunteers to assist with direct and non-direct patient care. Volunteers will provide non-medical assistance through various task during the final stages of the patients life as they go through hospice. Come be a burst of happiness and volunteer!
Some of the tasks that are available would be providing social interaction, companionship, grocery shopping, in home assistance, writing in journals with the patient/family, taking pets for walks, writing letters, making calls to the patients/caregiver, delivering items such as medical supplies or flowers. There are so many options to volunteering with a patient in hospice and we would love your help!

Description
Enhabit Health is looking for a in home volunteer to provide emotional and physical support to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by providing companionship and care to the patient and families on hospice. Other ways to help can be doing administrative tasks, crafts, doing tuck in calls with patients each week. Come share your experiences and hobbies! We are looking for music therapy, veterans, pet therapy, and end of life volunteers at this critical time of their lives.
