Youth Villages Mentoring Program provides young people receiving our services with positive adult role models. Mentors offer guidance and support through one-on-one relationships in the community. Some mentors choose to play catch at the park, get a burger and hang out, or even take a trip to the county fair- this is fun and flexible opportunity!

Mentors must be 21 years of age or older, pass a mandatory background and fingerprint check, complete paperwork, training, and commit to spending a minimum of four hours per month with their mentee.

Youth Villages provides training, 24 hour support, and resources for mentors. Although mentors of all genders are needed at this time, the greatest need is for male role-models, as most of the youth waiting for a mentor are male.

If you are interested in volunteering as a mentor, please Express Interest; and we’re always happy to answer questions through the email link below. More info can be found at https://www.youthvillages.org/services/mentoring/
