This is an important dual role as our coaches also provide mentorship to our student-athletes during program hours. Some Tennis experience required but will train to be a coach!
Qualifications:
Strong desire to work with tennis players and be a positive role model
Ability to execute and facilitate on-court programming for children or adults
Enthusiastic attitude
Tennis playing experience and familiarity with the game is preferred
We'll train you!
Teaching and/or coaching experience is a plus
Collaborate with fellow instructors and volunteers
Strong communications and collaborative skills
Must pass background check and complete 30 minute online coaching course
Requirements:
Build and maintain a fun, inclusive, safe and welcoming environment for all participants, on court and off
Provide program session instruction
Execute LoveSetMatch Coach Core curriculum and facilitate tennis play for participants as directed by program director
Lead by example and bring energy and enthusiasm to all on-court session activities
Ensure program equipment is properly maintained, set up before each session and put away
Be a team player
Assist with feedback and program assessments with students, team members and leadership

LoveSetMatch is a 501 (c)(3) Charitable Organization. EIN: 84-3805080 LoveSetMatch is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to youth development. We provide tennis fitness and education. Founded in 2010 as a private tennis academy, Love Set Match transitioned to a non-profit National Tennis and Learning organization in 2019. We expanded to serve the community. We offer free tennis instruction, S.T.E.M education, health, and fitness services throughout LA County.
Description
Our mission is to train unsupported kids and adults into healthy individuals through affordable tennis and fitness education. We offer game-based tennis and racquet sport education for people, especially kids and youth in Los Angeles, with an ultimate goal of providing free tennis lessons for all. Our programs include morning and evening lessons on weekdays and weekends, a summer program and partnership with LA County sports initiatives such as Parks After Dark.
