Divinity Hospice has many volunteer opportunities available that are both rewarding and fun. You can create your own volunteer experience by choosing what you want to do, administrative or direct patient care.
Volunteers assisting in administrative area will include: mailing, filing, photocopying, scanning, unpacking supplies, and organizing patient supplies.
Volunteers in direct patient care will assist with community outreach, pet therapy, spending time, providing companionship at the home, delivering supplies to the patient, providing practical help to lessen the family stress, arts, crafts, reading, playing music for the patient, and/ or listening to their life stories.
All volunteers will receive an orientation with training and education.
The volunteer experience is deeply rewarding as you are making a difference in someone's life. Volunteers are a vital part of our Divinity family. Get involved share your talent and be a blessing to someone today.
