ORGANIZATION: American Red Cross - Pacific Islands Region

Disaster Response- Is hands-on work in the field. Training varies depending on position, but is being done online. Select this option if you want to respond in the event of a disaster, including if you'd like to deploy to the mainland or other islands (not required). Having a car and a drivers license is necessary for sheltering & DAT team.

Sheltering: Volunteers help support emergency shelters by staffing different areas, including reception, registration, feeding, dormitory, information collection and other vital tasks. You must be willing to work under current COVID-19 Guidelines, willing to take training, and willing to stay at the shelter, should that be necessary.
