Many hospice patients really miss their pets. In order to receive the care they need, they may have had to move to an assisted living or skilled nursing facility, which means leaving dogs and cats and critters behind. A visit from a certified therapy pet is an amazing gift, bringing smiles and laughter...and sometimes tears of joy.

Mid-Michigan Hospice is seeking certified Pet Therapy volunteers (with certified, vaccinated therapy pets) to visit with our patients who reside in care facilities. Your can make such a difference by your visits! Let us help make you and your pet Hospice Heroes!
