On Friday, October 30, Project MORE will host LGBTQ+ hALLoWELLness, a pop-up, Halloween-themed clinic, providing a safe and affirming opportunity for LGBTQ+ people and their families to receive FREE wellness testing, vaccinations, and resources from 11:00 am to 5:30pm in downtown San José. NO insurance is needed
Thursday, October 29
- Toolkit Assembly: 9:00am - 12:00pm (may end sooner)
volunteers will help assemble wellness toolkits with donated items and resource materials
Friday, October 30
This community initiative will not be possible without the generous help of volunteers to aid our nonprofit organization with set-up, reception/greater, and toolkit distribution. Our task descriptions are below:
- Set-Up Team: 8:30am - 11:00am
volunteers will help set-up tables, chairs, safety signs, and halloween decor. - Guest Support: 10:30am - 1:00pm
volunteers will help visitors with directions, answer questions, and distribute wellness toolkits as people leave. - Guest Support: 12:30pm - 3:00pm
volunteers will help visitors with directions, answer questions, and distribute wellness toolkits as people leave. - Guest Support: 2:30pm - 5:00pm
volunteers will help visitors with directions, answer questions, and distribute wellness toolkits as people leave. - Guest Support & Teardown Team: 4:30pm - 7:00pm
volunteers will help visitors with directions and teardown tables, chairs, and decor.
You can sign-up for multiple shifts.
During this volunteer opportunity, you will have a safe and rewarding experience that is welcoming to everyone. Volunteers will have their defined workspace.
Everyone's health and safety is important to us. All volunteers must observe all State and County health and safety guidelines and orders. This includes wearing a face covering, face mask or face shield, and to maintain 6 foot physical distancing. If you are feeling ill or experiencing symptoms, please cancel your participation and let us know as soon as possible.

Qmunity has served the 2SLGBTQIA+ community since 2013, offering programs, consulting, research, and engagement services that make a difference and build community. We’re a all-volunteer 501(c)3 nonprofit in the Silicon Valley, making a difference throughout of California and beyond.
Our Qmunity District is a welcoming, inclusive, and affirming place for 2SLGBTQIA+ in the South Bay. Reenvisioning Post Street from 1st to Market Street in Downtown San José, the District features shopping, dining, nightlife, and events, while focusing on queer art, culture, and history. A safer space for the Queer community, families, and visitors.
