The aim of this volunteer position is to equitably provide basic and literacy education opportunities to our vulnerable population through the adaptation of our services to an online tutoring and learning program.

Call for online volunteers to help adult learners (16+) in high school academic math, pre-secondary and secondary programs, from CDC-Vimont.

We have learners in need of online volunteer math tutors, on either a regular or temporary basis, to help them improve and succeed in their math studies!

  • FLEXIBLE dates and schedules.
  • Online Volunteer Orientation available!

Days:
Choose from: Mornings or afternoons
Weekdays: Any time between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. EDT

Frequency:
Minimum 1 hour session per week

Qualifications/Experience:
Excellent English communication/speaking skills
Minimum education level: High School Diploma
TLE Orientation (Now online!)
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

* Adult Literacy and Tutoring: One-on-one and small group instruction to adults in need

* Volunteer/Student Recruitment
* Community Resource and Learning Centre
* Volunteer/Student Outreach and Retention
* Prevention and Intervention
