The Longest Day is a signature fundraising campaign that helps to move the mission of the Alzheimer's Association forward and to provide local programs and services free to families in need. Volunteers are imperative to the success of The Longest Day; together we can make a difference.
The Alzheimer's Association of Southeastern VA is looking for a few dedicated volunteers to assist on the Engagement Team of The Longest Day Volunteer Committee. Engagement Volunteers are our "Relationship Builders." Examples of job duties could include: Check in phone calls to fundraising participants, sending follow up emails, and writing thank you cards.

Description
The Longest Day is the day with the most light - the summer solstice. On June 20, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer's through an activity of their choice. Together, they use their creativity and passion to raise funds and awareness for the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.
