Our Volunteer Veteran Escorts assist Veterans with getting to and from their appointments throughout the hospital. There is walking involved, as well as pushing wheelchairs throughout the facility. Veteran Escorts will be stationed at the Information Desk to await requests for transport assistance and could be taking Veterans via elevator or hallway to one or more appointments within the main building or the newly built Ambulatory Care Center. Veteran Escorts will stay within the building and not go outside with wheelchairs/patients.
